Based in El Paso, Texas is Le Disxco [Le ˈdiskō] a young female deep house and house DJ/producer. Born and raised in a border city deeply rooted in music, Le Disxco quickly grew a passion for the electronic dance music scene. In 2010 Ashley established the stage name ‘Le Disxco’ and by 2011 she managed to spark some attention through a duo called Ashley Roberts. Within a year Le Disxco played at venues throughout El Paso and opened for DJ’s such as Alex Kenji, [a]pendics.shuffle, Sergio Santos and JPLS. Her style varies, but typically lies between twists of vocally infused house and tech house with a hint of deep house. In October 2011 Le Disxco released her first EP Le Fuck under Draft Label with remixes from Andy Martin, Mikael Stavostrand, Casamusic, and Lilith. Le Disxco soon after released her first single The Midnight Sounds in January 2012. Inspired by leading female DJ’s Magda, tINI, and Ida Engberg, Le Disxco’s main focus is set on expanding her knowledge in producing. As co-owner she also plans on partaking in the expansion of Draft, a Germany and Texas based label. Le Disxco is far from the norm; she is a soft spoken, shy, and reserved girl but this should not fool anyone. Le Disxco’s voice lies in her music; her personality shines in each of her sets and her beats are just a small reflection of the passion that continues to carry her
