Shani Barnett has been involved in the entertainment industry for over 18 years. She is a former Miss Chicago Dance and has movie credits including “Save the Last Dance.”  A true master of her craft, Shani merited one of four honors at the International DJ Expo 2011 for her crowd-pleasing performance.  She is currently performing all over the Chicago area, where she is an emcee, DJ, and choreographer. Her own entertainment company, Shani Barnett Productions, has led her to work with the hottest music artists and athletes for major events and functions including the Jay Sean Spring Break Jam 2012 and the 50 Cent Invitation Tour 2010 in Chicago. Shani has been featured as the “Entertainer of the Month” in the DJ Times Magazine and has been interviewed for feature articles in the Mobile Beat Magazine to share her expertise to others in the DJ industry.  Most weekends you can find Shani DJing at some of the hottest clubs and lounges in Chicago. Most recently, she was the only female DJ selected to perform in the DJ Takeover at the Mobile Beat Las Vegas DJ Convention 2013 and brought the house down with her amazing DJ set. Shani’s energetic style never ends, and her stage presence sparks enthusiasm in everyone around her.
